India Ratings and Research (Ind-Ra) has revised the textile sector outlook to improving for FY22 from negative, reflecting the likelihood of higher revenues and operating margins, post business disruptions led by COVID-19 in FY21.

International technology Group ANDRITZ has received an order from Pureko Sp. z o.o. to supply a needlepunch line for their plant in Myszków, Poland. The line will process recycling fibres from garment waste.

Sateri, the world’s largest producer of viscose fibre, is planning to expand its Lyocell production in China, with total planned annual capacity of up to 500,000 tonnes by 2025.

Stand space application for ITMA 2023 opened on 3 March, 2021. The world’s largest textile and garment technology exhibition, ITMA will be held at Fiera Milano Rho, Milan, from 8 to 14 June 2023.
