Terrot I3P 8-lock machines stand for sophisticated and almost inexhaustible range of knit structures as well as scope for widely differing yarn types, which permit the economical production of new fabric structures and high-tech knit goods. This implies maximum flexibility with optimum efficiency.

This latest development of the 8-lock model I3P154 in fine gauge E28 offers a wider range in knitting structures thus rib and Interlock stitch formations can be combined to new fabric structures.

• The motorised take-down device with own electric roller drive is individually adjustable and guarantees absolutely constant take-down tension.
• The system density of machine model I3P154 guarantees an outstanding production output.
• The machine model is particularly suitable for the production of Punto di Roma, Rib 1:1 (yarn consumption 26 cm to 50 needles gauge E18) Ottoman and Waffle fabrics.
• Compared to magnet technology the Piezo-technology provides more process reliability and machine performance in the daily production due to 8 separate selection fingers for tuck/ miss on each feeder. Considering minimal mechanical transmission ratios the needle selection is totally freely controllable in its 3-way technique.

The ceramic PIEZO selection elements form the electronic mechanic interface which reliably implement the knitting information even with extremely fine machine gauge at high speeds. Transfer systems at every 3rd feeder of the machine bring the cylinder stitches to the dial needles. The therewith produced appealing Eyelet-effects permit the use of those fabrics in gauges up to E32 in the range of underwear and fashionable sportswear.
