Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will lay the foundation stone for the Warangal textiles Park on October 20, 2017. He will lay the foundation stone on the same day for the Rs 669 crore Warangal Outer Ring Road (WORR).

The two projects sanctioned by the Chief Minister were expected to turn out to be the key growth drivers for the economic and infrastructure profile of Warangal that is being shaped into a smart city.

Deputy Chief Minister, Kadiam Srihari who met the Chief Minister at Pragati Bhavan requested for his time to lay the foundation stones for the two massive projects. Chief Minister gave his consent to participate in the programmes.

Kadiam thanked the Chief Minister on behalf of the citizens of Warangal for his initiative in the implementation of developmental programmes in a big way.

The Warangal Textiles park which will be coming up in 2,000 acres of area, would be the largest centre of its kind in Asia. About 1,200 acres of land was already acquired. The textiles park will be giving a big boost to the employment potential in the city.
