Discover high-performance textiles, sustainable materials and new applications, build international contacts and open up new markets.

More than 1,500 exhibitors from 49 countries, over 120 new exhibitors and strong country pavilions once again make Frankfurt the central meeting point for technical textiles and nonwovens. The world’s leading innovation platform is growing – and so are your business opportunities. Discover high-performance textiles, sustainable materials and new applications, build international contacts and open up new markets. Look forward to future-oriented solutions and a strong content programme.

Performance apparel textiles

Whether protecting, regulating, insulating or cooling – textiles perform in extreme situations and open up new application fields for workwear, protective clothing, outdoor and sportswear. Demand rises rapidly: the Performance Apparel Textiles segment (Hall 9.0) doubles in size and features 130 exhibitors presenting textile solutions for the highest requirements. In the live presentation Performance Apparels on Stage, innovative wearables and functional end products demonstrate their performance in real-life applications. The direct proximity to Texprocess (Hall 8.0) ideally links materials, technology and application.

Nature performance

Your customers demand them, legislators require them: environmentally friendly solutions with strong performance. But how can natural and bio-based materials meet high requirements? Techtextil provides guidance: for the first time, a Special Interest label identifies relevant exhibitors that combine sustainability and performance at their stands and in the online exhibitor search. In the Nature Performance area (Hall 9.1), exhibitors of sustainable fibres and materials present their solutions in a dedicated setting. Discover their potential for future-oriented applications and sustainable business success.

Techtextil Innovation Awards

The jury of the Techtextil Innovation Award has convened. With 15 per cent more submissions, the award confirms its relevance as an international stage for textile innovations – and reflects the industry’s strong innovative power. The renowned jury was particularly impressed by the international diversity of the submissions. The focus is on new materials, recycling technologies, chemicals & dyes, digital solutions, AI as well as new production and application concepts. From 14 April onwards, you will find out which projects are setting new benchmarks for the textile future. Experience the award-winning products and technologies live at the fair.

Techtextil forum

At the Techtextil Forum, you can discuss current topics with experts and gain valuable insights for your projects. Look forward to contributions on AI-supported fault detection with Michael Lau (Terrot Textile Machinery), intelligent monitoring of textile membranes with Hung Le Xuang (TU Dresden), new approaches to textile recycling with Jörg Schreiber (Dienes Apparatebau), PFAS alternatives through bio-based coatings with Rahel Heesemann (RWTH Aachen), and bio-based printing pastes with Augusta Silva (CITEVE). The full programme will be available online soon.

Chemistry and colour where they are needed

With Textile Chemicals & Dyes, a new segment launches at Techtextil. In Hall 9.0, you will find over 30 exhibitors from 11 countries gathered in one place – including Archroma, CHT Germany, EMS-Chemie, Novotex Italiana, Rudolf, Sarex Chemcials, Schill + Seilacher and Tanatex. Benefit from this central meeting point, additional synergies and discover new partners along the textile value chain: the proximity to Fibres & Yarns as well as Performance Apparel Textiles encourages professional exchange and makes your visit to the fair more efficient than ever.
