Firm secures global recognition for excellence in annual reporting.

Mafatlal Industries (MIL), the flagship company of the Arvind Mafatlal Group, has secured global recognition by winning the Platinum Award at the 2024–25 Vision Awards Annual Report Competition organised by the League of American Communications Professionals (LACP). This marks the third consecutive year that the company has received the honour, highlighting its continued excellence in corporate reporting within the Consumer Durables – Textile/Apparel/Luxury category.

The company’s annual report was ranked among the Top 100 Reports Worldwide, securing the 65th position globally among all submissions reviewed for the previous fiscal year. In addition, the company received the Technical Achievement Award for overall excellence in annual report communications, reflecting strong performance in both presentation and content.

The LACP Vision Awards are considered one of the most competitive global platforms for recognising excellence in corporate reporting and stakeholder communication. Entries are assessed on parameters such as first impression, narrative clarity, financial disclosure quality, creativity, and overall communication effectiveness. The recognition reflects the company’s structured approach towards governance, transparency, and strategic disclosure practices.

Raghunath Mannil Balakrishnan, CEO, Mafatlal Industries Limited, said, “We are honoured that Mafatlal Industries has once again been recognised at the LACP Vision Awards, marking the third consecutive year our annual report has earned Platinum status and been ranked among the Top 100 Reports Worldwide. This sustained recognition reflects the strength of our integrated reporting- not as a compliance exercise, but as a disciplined articulation of performance, governance, and strategic intent. In a competitive global field, such consistent acknowledgement underscores our commitment to transparency, accountability, and world-class stakeholder communication. We will continue to elevate our reporting to align with evolving global benchmarks and long-term value creation.”

The international recognition reinforces the company’s commitment to maintaining high standards of corporate governance and effective communication, strengthening confidence among investors, partners, and stakeholders.
