The 6th edition of Techtextil India Symposium, scheduled for September 8-9, 2016 at Holiday Inn, Mumbai, will highlight the prowess of technical textiles and nonwovens sectors across the globe. Several editions of the conference have been held over the past years in Frankfurt, India, Middle East and Russia. In India, the symposium has been the centre of discussions, deliberations and dialogues among the key stakeholders. Textile Commissioner Dr Kavita Gupta is also expected to address the gathering with a keynote speech on government policies and schemes. Other key speakers include Rüdiger Müller of Trützschler Nonwovens, Mukesh Vijaywargi of Klopman International srl, Pierre Wiertz of EDANA, Mohan Kavrie of Supreme Nonwovens and Hendrik H van Delden of Gherzi van Delden.

The two-day Techtextil India symposium will cover six specialised tracks ranging from emerging new technologies for advanced technical textiles to future prospects of the technical textile industry; to growing market for activewear/performance-wear; and from the right time for investment in meditech & hygiene sectors, and high performance applications of nonwovens as well as the growing sectors of protech and composites.
