P Nataraj is new chairman of SIMA

The Southern India Mills Association (SIMA) has elected P Nataraj, Managing Director, K P R Mill Limited, Coimbatore as the Chairman for the year 2017-18. He was unanimously elected as the chairman in the 58th AGM.
According to an official statement, Nataraj, a Science Graduate and Fellow Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, is a member of the Committee of Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI) and also Vice President of Indian Cotton Federation. He is also the Managing Trustee in K.P.R. Institute of Engineering and Technology.
K Vinayakam, Managing Director of SCM Textile Spinners, Avinashi and Managing Director of The Chennai Silks, has been unanimously elected as the Deputy Chairman of SIMA. Ashwin Chandran, CMD, Precot Meridien Limited, has been elected as the vice-chairman of SIMA, the statement added.
