Welspun India Ltd (WIL), part of the $ 3 billion Welspun Group has announced Q1-FY15 results, showing strong growth in revenue and profitability in comparison to the corresponding period last year.

Spaces Home & Beyond of Welspun has launched a ?Hygro Comfort? range of products in India. The Hygro cotton yarn is a new proprietary spinning technology for yarn and has already been patented internationally.

Welspuns revenue stood at Rs 44,954 million as against Rs 36,473 in the corresponding year, a 23 per cent growth YoY with strong volume growth in towels and rugs and higher realisation across products.

DHL Global Forwarding has announced the appointment of Rajiv Sharma as the new Director, Industrial Projects, India with immediate effect. Rajiv will be reporting directly to Samar Nath, CEO DHL Global Forwarding, India. Sharma joins DHL from Geodis Overseas Pvt. Ltd where he worked as Director-Industrial Project, responsible for developing and managing Industrial Projects for India.
