The yarn manufacturing sector is a critical segment in the textile manufacturing chain as it is a resource – intensive process. Therefore, around the world, this segments of manufacturing faces numerous challenges in maintaining competitive manufacturing costs while meeting quality requirements.

As a part of its marketing activity for 2015, SAVIO took the opportunity to refresh and update the customers on the developments and new implementations at SAVIO through series of seminars in prominent areas like Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh.

In 2013, shipments fell in most segments though remained on a relatively high level. In comparison to 2012 global shipments of new short-staple spindles rose by 10 per cent while those of open-end rotors decreased slightly by 2 per cent and those of long-staple spindles dropped by 45 per cent.
