Gujarat-based ABN Industries is a manufacturer of textile weaving machinery spare parts for shuttleless looms. It provides rapier drive wheels for textile weaving machinery. The company participated at the recent GTTES event in Mumbai in which the company displayed its wide range of drive wheels for the textile industry.

Naazneen Katrak, founder of Mustang Socks, was honoured with the Golden MSME award for Woman Entrepreneur of the Year. Golden Maharashtra MSME Awards recognize and reward Maharashtra’s entrepreneurs, and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

ATDC has received the ´Best Institute: Innovation´ award for exemplary contributions in introducing new innovative skill development training courses for youth.

It all started in the year 1975 when Prakash Shah, a man with a dream to succeed big in textile, established Prashant Group in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, with just four employees. However, in the last four decades, Prashant Group has grown on to become one of the prominent and fast growing textile machine manufacturing companies in India with more than 900 employees, and over 250 engineers.

The new government under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has stressed a revolutionary economic vision based on increasing production, export and generating employment, giving particular attention to productive employment opportunity for the youth, inclusive and participative growth, skill, scale and speed, ´Make in India´ brand, zero defect – zero effect, Adarsh Gram, to name a few.

I think the main difference between we Indians and outsiders are that we need to be more receptive to new technology, we should not fear of trial and errors on experimentation.
