Demand for Indian home textiles is expected to continue to grow at over 8 per cent as seen in the recent past, aided by exports to traditional markets and deeper penetration into non-traditional markets.

Established by Nowrosjee Wadia in 1879 as a small operation of Indian spun cotton yarn dip dyed by hand, Bombay Dyeing has now grown to be one of the most respected and trusted brands in the country.

After a long gap, Wadia group’s textile company Bombay Dyeing is looking at entering readymade apparel once again with menswear products. Earlier, it had an apparel brand, Vivaldi, which the company sold to Proline to manage.

Bombay Dyeing has recently launched their own Denim styled Bath Linen Collection which includes Towels, Bath Mats and Bathrobes under the ‘Aspero Denim’ brand

Bombay Dyeing and Manufacturing Company, the 137-year-old textile manufacturer with 25 company-owned stores and franchises across nine towns in Tamil Nadu, has big plans for the State focusing more on retail business.
