Sensoria Fitness, a world leader in artificial intelligence and smart garment technology, after being selected

as a winner for the Editor’s Pick Awards by Runner’s World at the Consumer Electronics Show 2017 in Las Vegas,

has now been named “Best Start-Up Company” by Future Textile Awards. This award programme, created by the World

Textile Information Network (WTiN), recognises success in material innovation. The programme also recognised

Sensoria as a finalist in the “Best Product: Sports Textiles” and “Ground Breaking Partnership” categories at

its award ceremony recently in Frankfurt, Germany.

“We are honored to receive such a prestigious award. This recognition speaks directly to our expertise in smart

garments, wearable design and material developments,” said Davide Vigano, CEO and co-founder of Sensoria. “Our

company is proud to create an award-winning product line of health and fitness technology that seamlessly

infuses into the fabrics that people are already wearing, such as t-shirts, sports bras and footwear. This

innovation allows users to comfortably and accurately measure important fitness metrics in a more familiar

way.”

Sensoria® Core, a key innovation that led to Sensoria’s award recognition, is at the center of the Sensoria

Development Kit, which provides footwear, sports apparel and lifestyle brands with the tools to harness the

same technology components used in Sensoria’s smart garment running system. In addition to these B2B use cases,

Sensoria® Core is integrated into Sensoria’s in-house product line, including its new Sensoria Sock 2.0. These

upgraded, ultra-light socks detect crucial core metrics, including cadence, foot landing and impact forces

exerted by runners.
