Swiss-based Santex Group has decided to improve the local sales organisation in India in the segment of technical textiles. As of April, Santex named Jude Britto as Head of Sales (Technical Textiles and Emerging Technologies). He has been with Santex Engineering India PVT Ltd, the wholly-owned subsidiary of the Santex Group in Coimbatore for nearly 11 years. This new sales setup allows Santex to be in direct contact with its partners and discuss potential new projects. At the same time this will ensure continuous support and service in the Indian market for Santex Group.
Britto will be responsible for sales of the product portfolio from Cavitec, Isotex, SperottoRimar and Solwa. The representation of Santex in India, FabIndia / Knitfab, will still be responsible for the textile segment mainly for knits.
