PM Modi also attended the National ‘PM Vishwakarma’ Programme, which marked one year of progress under the PM Vishwakarma initiative. During the event, he launched the “Acharya Chanakya Skill Development Centre” scheme by the Maharashtra government.

Skill development training centres are planned to be established in renowned colleges across the state to provide training for youth aged 15 to 45, helping them become self-reliant and access various employment opportunities. Approximately 1,50,000 youths across the state will receive free skill development training each year.

Additionally, PM Modi introduced the “Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Women Startup Scheme.” This initiative will provide early-stage support to women-led startups in Maharashtra, with financial assistance of up to Rs 2.5 million.

He further added that the Indian government, under Modi’s leadership, will strengthen India’s global position in the coming years. Referring to a previous statement by Modi, Shinde echoed the sentiment that the 21st century belongs to India, largely due to Modi’s leadership.
