PDS marks the conclusion of Bharat Tex 2024

Bharat Tex 2024 also provided PDS with the opportunity to network with international industry experts, vendors, clients, and potential investors, showcasing the company’s global reach and expertise.

PDS, the global fashion infrastructure and solutions company, was proudly the “Fashion Partner” at the Bharat Tex 2024- India’s largest Textile and Apparel Expo and Conference. The event held in New Delhi from February 26 – 29, was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and attracted a global audience of brands, retailers, supply chain players, innovators across the domestic and global fashion value chain. The event showcased India as a global destination for textile and fashion that is poised for innovation, collaboration, and inspiration.

During Bharat Tex 2024, Sanjay Jain, Group CEO, PDS, was honoured with the opportunity to engage on the International CXO Roundtable, which deliberated on the growth prospects of the textile sector in India. Chaired by Piyush Goyal, Minister of Textiles, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, and Commerce & Industry, the roundtable attracted Indian and global industry dignitaries, associations, senior government officials, and potential investors. Bharat Tex 2024 also provided PDS with the opportunity to network with international industry experts, vendors, clients, and potential investors, showcasing the company’s global reach and expertise.

PDS took this opportunity to foster dialogue and knowledge exchange through insightful sessions. PDS Ventures, an innovative presentation, showcased strides made by PDS in meeting global standards of sustainability in the textile sector. While a fireside chat on ‘Transforming Vendor Relationships’ highlighted the need for collaboration for sustainable growth. Another session focused on ‘Process before Product – Profitable Innovation,’ discussed the importance of a clear approach to sustainable innovation.

PDS also engaged a panel discussion and Q&A session moderated by Liza Amlani, the Principal and Co-Founder of Retail Strategy Group. With over 20 years of experience in retail, Liza brought invaluable insights and expertise to the discussion, enriching the dialogue on the future of textiles and industry challenges. Together with Pallak Seth, Executive Vice Chairman, and Sanjay Jain, Group CEO, PDS, alongside Rajive Ranjan, MD of Techno Design, they offered valuable insights on the future of textiles, addressing key challenges and opportunities in the industry.

As the curtains draw on Bharat Tex 2024, PDS looks ahead with optimism, inspired by the collaborative spirit and innovation showcased at this esteemed event. The impact of Bharat Tex 2024 extends beyond its venue, influencing the global textile industry and advancing the government’s vision of positioning India as a global hub for textiles.
