NSC: World leaders in long staple fibre processing

N. Schlumberger (NSC) was established in the year 1810 at Guebwiller in Alsace, France. Present in more than 60 countries on every continent, N. Schlumberger is recognised around the world for its technological mastery of complete long-staple fibre lines. Its know-how allows to provide its customers with solutions of the highest quality and best productivity.

NSC offers machines to process both natural as
well as chemical fibres, mainly, wool, silk, flax, hemp, ramie, jute, asbestos as well as polyester, acrylic, polyamides, polypropylene, aramide, textile glass, viscose, acetate, etc.

NSC supplies customer-driven solutions for: carding and combing lines; defelting, blending and recombing lines; crush cutting lines for filament fibres; stretch breaking lines for filament fibres; worsted spinning preparation lines; semi-worsted lines; among others. The company’s machine range includes: worsted cards in width of 2.50 metres (m) and 3.50 m, chain gills GC 40 with universal head for high performance, ERA40 combing machine for excellence in quality and high production, D3 and D5 defelters for defelting and blending fibres along with gilling process, GC 40 chain gills coupled to a bump press, GN8 intersecting is a new intersecting with universal head of GN series, GV20 vertical gills for finishers, gilling passage for fine and super fine yarn counts, FM20 horizontal rubbing frames, FMV40 vertical rubbing frames, FM20 P horizontal rubbing frames with can delivery, TT 12 converters for cutting converter lines, S200–FB20 stretch breakers, semi-worsted units, special construction of gill boxes — GC and GN and combs for bast fibre processing, card for processing flax fibres.
