The picture of swans and the word Nestling tells a story of purity. At Nestling Technologies, Coimbatore, this purity is a journey, and the mission is to achieve it in cotton, getting rid of all contaminants. PS Chandrasekaran, Chief Executive Officer, is pretty serious about helping his team achieve this goal.
"Not a single Indian company is in this field of eliminating contamination in fibres. In the world there are only 2 to 3 players in this field. Therefore we decided to concentrate on this aspect with our technologies. This product is the only one which is totally indigenous in this field. We are focusing on price, availability, service, etc. The greatest advantage in this contamination scan equipment is that the industry does not have to wait for 2 to 3 months like they way they were doing. With us, the product is immediately available," said Chandrasekaran, while speaking to Samuel Joseph, Editor of The Indian Textile Journal, in an exclusive interview during the recently held Texfair 2013 in Coimbatore.
Despite serious competition from some giants, Nestlings products are doing well in the Indian market, categorically asserted Chandrasekaran. "Affordability and availability are the twin benefits and even big corporates are appreciating the quality of our products. Our product gives value addition. It results in the end products becoming more perfect. So, all mills from North to South in India are happy with the results of our product," said Chandrasekaran.
The companys latest product is i-Scan, where "cotton contaminations are intelligently scanned and controlled". It is a proven solution for effective elimination of white and coloured PP impurities. It ensures minimum fibre loss. The other features are: Dedicated multi-stage scan system and economically priced with cutting edge technology.

"The i-Scan-u2c, a new version, incorporates very high and multiple detection principles, which eliminate all kinds of synthetic and other foreign matters including white and transparent PP, and that too with minimum loss," he added.
