China

Mizuno, the global
sportswear brand, has entered into a partnership with Swedish firm Polygiene to
cater to the growing demand for durable and high-performance activewear in
China.

The products from Mizuno China like jogging bottoms, sweaters, and
down jackets will feature the Polygiene BiostaticTM Stays Fresh technology. The
partnership will be launched in July. Mizuno China’s fall and winter collection
will be treated with technology. Polygiene Biostatic Stays Fresh technology is
going to provide protection against body smell as it will inhibit the growth of
odor-causing bacteria. The technology helps in stopping the odor at the source.

According to the company, the products that are treated with
Polygiene Stays Fresh technology need not be washed so often. This makes the
product suitable for sports and commuting at the same time. The company has
also said that this clever insight enhances the consumer experience as well.

Mizuno China also states that Mizuno always wants to innovate and
contribute to the betterment of society. The community contributes to society
through the advancement of sporting goods and it always aims to maintain the
vitality and beauty of the earth.

According to Ulrika Björk, CEO, Polygiene, the partnership is going to offer
growth opportunities for both brands. The company aims to cooperate with Mizuno
on a global scale. The focus of both companies is sustainability.
