Lux plans Covid-19 vaccination for all employees

To safeguard the employees from the
Covid-19 Pandemic,
Lux Industries – one
of India’s largest hosiery producers and exporters – has rolled out a
vaccination drive for the employees, their family members and people residing
near the manufacturing units. They have already started vaccination drive at
the offices and plants on a large scale. Lux Industries have been regularly
communicating best practices on health and safety to all the employees.

Ashok Kumar Todi, Chairman,
Lux Industries Limited, said that, employees are their most important assets
and as a responsible corporate, they have ensured that this drive will not only
cover the employees and their family members but also the society. He added
that, the drive will allow access to vaccination in a timely manner and help in
curbing the spread of virus.

According to Pradip Kumar
Todi, MD,
Lux Industries Limited,
the company emphasises on health and well-being of the employees and their
family members and the vaccination drive will create a safe and healthy working
environment for all the stakeholder. He also said that they started this
vaccination drive as a further safety measure, due to the current situation
during 2nd wave.
