Innovative textile design is fundamental to brand competitiveness in a challenging marketplace. Unique printed, woven, and knitted fabrics based on inspired designs are crucial to creating products and brands that stand out from the competition. Lectra is the world leader in integrated technology solutions – software, CAD/CAM equipment, and associated services?specifically designed for industries using fabrics, leather, technical textiles, and composite materials to manufacture their products.

Three textiles, one Suite: Thanks to Lectras Kaledo Suite, designers can easily create original concepts or adapt existing ideas from a companys archive to develop prints, weaves, and knits. Communication tools that have been developed specifically with production in mind are capable of automatically generating technical fabric reports that combine clear visuals with essential color, pattern, and scale information.

Print, weave and knit

Palette data: Kaledo Print is specifically developed to help turn creative ideas into production-ready, cost-effective prints.

Plaid palette data style: Kaledo Weave makes it easy to create dobby weaves. Visual libraries of industry-standard weaves give novices an easy start, while wovens experts can customise and build on existing patterns. Kaledo Weave and Kaledo Knit include a yarn creation.

Aran beige with chips: Kaledo Knit is driven by a unique 3D stitch simulator that generates realistic knit fabric simulations. It enables users to go beyond simple stitch placement and surface design without necessarily being knitwear experts. Designers can preview and check complex combinations of multi-color yarns and structured knits to get designs right the first time. An extensive library of architecturally sound, industry-standard knit structures coupled with this unique 3D stitch simulator reduces the need for costly samples.
