Sympatex
Technologies received the award of the “Best for the World” B Corp
companies of 2021, and entered in the category of the top 5% of 4,000 certified
B Corporations worldwide.

Sympatex has
been recognised for its outstanding performance in the area of sustainability.
The Munich-based functional specialist received this award due to initiatives
such as the European industry partnership wear2wear for the rapid closure of
the textile cycle, for its offer of the world’s first climate-neutral membrane,
and for co-designing and being the first signatory of the “UN Fashion
Industry Charter for Climate Action”.

Sympatex
Technologies is a B Corp company and a functional textile specialist. The award
is a renewed motivation and confirmation to continue to work successfully with
the global B Corp community. B Corporations are companies that commit to social
benefit and environmental sustainability in their company statutes.

According to
Rüdiger Fox, CEO, Sympatex, sustainability is at the core of everything they
do, and this award honours and confirms years of ambitious commitment to
closing the textile loop together with the brand partners and driving forward a
sustainable textile industry.

As one of the
worldwide leading producers, Sympatex Technologies has been a synonym for
high tech functional materials in clothing, footwear, accessories and technical
fields of application since 1986. The Sympatex membrane is highly breathable,
100% wind- waterproof, and regulates the climate.
