Shanghai

At the ITMA ASIA + CITME, held in Shanghai
from 12 to 16 June 2021, KARL MAYER presented pioneering solutions for machines
and technical services. These solutions will help to make textile production
more self-sufficient, faster, and diverse. Innovations from the fields of warp
knitting, warp preparation, flat knitting, and technical textiles focus on
digitization. The interested parties can find out about what KARL MAYER has to
offer for current and future business without even travelling, with the help of
this webinar. This has been made possible since June 18 due to a hybrid fair.
The parties can get a virtual tour of the exhibition and digital information
material like videos and expert interviews, by just clicking a simple button.
Guests even have the flexibility to book webinars on selected topics. There
were live interviews from ITMA ASIA + CITME on the exhibition highlights.

The online seminars that took place on 29
June and 1 July 2021, dealt with topics like knitting, raschel technology, and
tricot. Detailed information on the HKS 3-M ON, KARL MAYER’s digital-generation
tricot machine was also offered.

Both the webinars had around 80 to 100
participants which included designers, customers, and brands who had an
interest in the subject. The participants could also exchange their ideas with
one another. According to Robert Kuna, Trainer, KARL MAYER Academy, the webinar could inspire and
offer a food for thought to the participants. This was proved by the numerous
questions that showed up at the end of the event. Both the webinars were
attended well by the participants.
