The new leadership team brings extensive experience across textile accessories, machinery, testing equipment, industrial automation and technology solutions.

Indian Textile Accessories and Machinery Manufacture Association (ITAMMA) has announced its newly elected office bearers for 2026/27, appointing Omprakash Mantry as President, Vishal Masand as Vice-President and Rajeswaran Sundarraj as Honorary Treasurer. The new leadership team brings extensive experience across textile accessories, machinery, testing equipment, industrial automation and technology solutions.

Omprakash Mantry, Director of Century Inks Pvt. Ltd., has been elected President of ITAMMA for 2026/27. A first-generation entrepreneur with around 35 years of manufacturing experience, Mantry has built considerable expertise in industrial marking instruments, devices and specialty inks.

Under his leadership, the Century Markers brand has expanded its portfolio through sustained research and development. Its product range includes pump-type textile markers, paint markers, high-temperature chalks, laundry markers and the Century Everon Pen, serving a variety of industrial processes and applications.

Mantry also owns and manages 3S Corporation, a government-recognised star export house engaged in the export and distribution of specialty pharmaceutical medicines. He currently serves as Chairman of the Bonanza Industrial Estate Co-operative Society in Kandivali and is a committee member of the All India Printing Ink Manufacturer Association. He has also previously served as a committee member of the Plastic Export Promotion Council.

Vishal Masand, Proprietor of TiRUPATi TECHNiK, has been elected Vice-President for 2026/27. A Chemical Engineer with an MBA, Masand began his career with Petrofils in Vadodara before working with Hindustan Dorr Oliver on the commissioning of DAP fertiliser and desalination plants. He subsequently worked in business development for the oil and petrochemical sector at CMC Limited.

Masand established TiRUPATi TECHNiK in June 1997 and has built extensive experience in representing and servicing international technology companies including Lenzing Instruments, Move Engineering, Honigmann Electronic and Broell Ceramics.

The company represents Lenzing Instruments’ range of filament, fibre and non-woven testing equipment, along with technologies such as PFY online monitoring systems and cleaning solutions for polyester, polypropylene and nylon applications. Masand has been associated with ITAMMA’s Managing Committee for several years and has actively participated in the association’s activities.

Rajeswaran Sundarraj, Managing Director of the Naren Group of Companies, has been elected Honorary Treasurer for 2026/27. A first-generation entrepreneur with more than three decades of experience, Sundarraj has worked extensively across textile engineering, industrial electronics and automation.

Under his leadership, the Naren Group has developed its presence in textile machinery spare parts, industrial electronic components, machine sensors and automation solutions. The group has focused on developing technologically advanced and cost-effective alternatives to globally sourced industrial components while strengthening its customer base in India and international markets.

Sundarraj also serves as Chief Marketing Officer of Ariyai Tech Pvt. Ltd., where he focuses on customer engagement, business growth and the adoption of technologies including cloud architecture, artificial intelligence, automation and enterprise digital transformation.

A long-standing member of ITAMMA’s Managing Committee, Sundarraj has been actively involved in the association’s initiatives over the years.

With the new office bearers taking charge for 2026/27, ITAMMA’s leadership brings together expertise spanning manufacturing, textile testing technologies, industrial automation, digital transformation and international business, positioning the association to further strengthen its engagement with the textile engineering and allied industries.
