EDANA, the leading global association serving the nonwovens and related industries, has announced an innovative addition to INDEX™, the global exhibition showcasing the nonwovens and related industries in Geneva from April 4-7, 2017 – half-day seminars to cover relevant mega trends, and how nonwovens help meet these challenges.

In 2017, EDANA and the PALEXPO teams are bringing a new experience to exhibition visitors and exhibitors alike. Focusing on transportation, healthcare, geotextiles and filtration, each session will be launched with a leading speaker to take a step beyond our industry and look at the global forces driving each area. From water scarcity to ageing populations, from the rise of autonomous vehicles to the demand for more sustainable and cost-effective infrastructures, “Big Picture” speakers will address the global mega trends affecting, and influencing each of the applications areas.

While attendees interested in filtration will also have free access to the “Big Picture” speaker and the table-top exhibition at the FILTREX™ event, additional information, education, and networking will also be made available through the FILTREX™ conference, to be held on-site at INDEX™ for the first time.
