FUTEX 2017 from Jan 18-19

The 7th European Technical Textiles Convention—FUTEX—will take place in Marcq-en-Baroeul, France 18-19 January 2017. Every two years since 2005, FUTEX has been a major meeting point for the European technical textile sector with an ever-growing attendance of what is now over 250 participants, representing more than 10 nationalities.

FUTEX includes six events in one: conferences, booths (manufacturers, partners), the FUTUROTEXTILES exhibition, the FUTEX Innovation Challenge Award for students, and two new events for 2017.

The FUTEX European Technical Textile Convention is a major crossroads for international discussions and provides the opportunity to update on the latest innovations and current projects, set up partnerships and invest in research. New in 2017, FUTEX is for the first time organising technological partnership meetings in cooperation with the EEN Enterprise Europe Network and is creating an unmissable event for startups involved in the connected worlds of health, sport and the home. Built on success, FUTEX has become a vital meeting place in the European technical textile sector.

Futurotextiles MIX is offering a wide selection of European products and displaying a range of textile creations from innovatory industries in the Hauts de France region. This exhibition is a response to a desire to highlight the very great involvement in the textile industry of companies in the region. It reflects an economic reality, renewed in leading-edge research and innovation.
