COTTON USA team to interact with Indian mills
A seven-member COTTON USA Executive Delegation is travelling with Cotton Council International (CCI) to Mumbai, Coimbatore and New Delhi to participate in conferences emphasising U.S. cotton’s quality to Indian textile mill leadership and conduct meetings with key mill partners.
A seven-member COTTON USA Executive Delegation is travelling with Cotton Council International (CCI) to Mumbai, Coimbatore and New Delhi to participate in conferences emphasising U.S. cotton’s quality to Indian textile mill leadership and conduct meetings with key mill partners. The delegation would also visit the COTTON USA Brand & Retail partner stores.
The COTTON USA conference at the three locations would encourage participants to “Take a Closer Look at U.S. Cotton†and engage in active dialogue to share their experiences with using U.S. cotton fibre in their mills. The Executive Delegation participants will present about the quality, sustainability, transparency and premium value of U.S. cotton to show how U.S. cotton can work closely with textile mills to realise the better value in their business. The delegation will also brief on the World Cotton Production, Supply and Demand overview. In addition to these presentations, the conference would also include business sessions where the Industry leaders would discuss the dynamics of Cotton Sourcing and building the sustainable supply chains in the Textile Industry.
The Delegation’s first stop is in Mumbai, where CCI is hosting a conference at Four Seasons on July 9, followed by a conference in Le Meridien, Coimbatore on July 11, and at ITC Maurya, New Delhi on July 13, 2018.
