Prakash Bhagwati?the man behind InspirOn Engineering?had a vision to bring a small company into global arena. He founded InspirOn Engineering in 1973 through a technical collaboration with German company C. Eugen Maier Metallverarbeitung GmbH for manufacturing of critical subassembly called Flyer (Fluegel) used in textile spinning machines.

Over the last few years, Gneuss´ MRS extruder has established itself as one of the key technologies for processing of engineering polymers without pre-drying. Although originally developed specifically for PET, the MRS is now also running in polyolefin and nylon applications, and testing with other materials promises many more applications in the future.

At the Lacom stall, one can, with the help of the team of experts and the Lacom products, experience cutting-edge ideas and state-of-the-art technologies of one of the world´s leading suppliers of laminating and coating machines. Lacom will introduce during the ITMA show a new generation of laminating and coating machines for the treatment of flexible substrates.

Karl Mayer holds the title of being the market and technology leader and will be travelling, as always, to ITMA, after having made the best preparations ever. Karl Mayer is aiming to show seven new warp knitting machines in Milan, as well as new warp-knitted textiles, ideas for the after-sales sector and innovative warp preparation solutions ´ all under the company´s motto of ´We care about your future´.

ITMA in Europe remains the industry´s leading trade fair. The importance given to it by Trützschler is in accordance with this fact. All four divisions will exhibit on a collective stand. Though a final decision on all the products to be exhibited has not yet been made, a central theme stands out: ´Processes and machines to improve economic efficiency at our customers are in the spotlight.´

The Better Cotton Initiative Council has appointed to serve as the new CEO of BCI, with effect from September 28. McClay replaces Patrick Laine who is retiring, but will continue to manage specific BCI projects during a transition period.
