India is now the third largest sales market in Asia for the German engineering industry. ?Presently more than 550 VDMA member companies are engaged with their own business in the Indian market. In 2016, the bilateral trade between India and Germany grew to Euro 17.42 billion from a figure of nearly Euro 17.29 billion in 2015.

Dynabrade India has reached a new landmark, completing 10 years in India, and celebrated the occasion in Mumbai recently. The 100 per cent subsidiary of the US-headquartered Dynabrade Inc, was formally established in March 2007, though the company had some distributors in the country since the late 1990s.

In view of promoting green power, the Northern India Textile Research Association (NITRA) has decided to install grid-connected roof-top solar power plant at its building. The plant is estimated to be fulfilling about 60-70 per cent of NITRA’s total power consumption in first phase.
