In 1992, during India-ITME, Amritlakshmi was the first company to bring imported airjet and waterjet looms for high value fabrics as well as technical textiles – glass yarn weaving.

About 42 years ago Amritlakshmi sold its first 100 per cent indigenous sizing machine to Mafatlal, Mumbai, formalising its vision of supplying fault-free technology. Around 400 machines all over India and abroad followed. In 1986, Amritlakshmi dared its first high-tech project and won. It was in this project that the Mafatlals achieved 97 per cent efficiency on our machine after India’s first 114 airjets were commissioned by them and us. Around 1970 onwards, Amritlakshmi sold 100 processing machines in seven years – a veritable record in those days! In 1992, during India-ITME, Amritlakshmi was the first company to bring imported airjet and waterjet looms for high value fabrics as well as technical textiles – glass yarn weaving. And the early 90s saw Amritlakshmi introduce its jute preparatory range. We fulfilled India’s need for an ideal sizing system especially for the zero-twist filament yarn by domesticating the “non-weavable” by increasing the ability of the yarn to bear the stress and strain of high-speed weaving.

The company’s focus: Fluid in designing features as per the customer requirement. The focus is also on increasing automation to ease the load of the labour. Every project is designed by choosing from our range of warpers and sizing machines to be tied together with tailor-made software to suit spun yarn and blends, polyester and nylon yarn as well jute yarn.

My 49 years of industry experience can put together any forthcoming projects your firm is planning for. Using the expertise on the subject, I can best guide how to use Amritlakshmi’s machinery and automated systems to ensure the success of your project.
