Mariplast produces and supplies patented items to customers worldwide to grant them technical and productivity advantages

Mariplast was founded in 1969 and since more than 50 years it’s specialized in the field of plastic items for the yarn industry. Today the range of products Mariplast includes more than 1,500 items for all the stages of processing yarn: spinning preparation, spinning (ring, open-end, selfacting), twisting, winding and yarn dyeing.
Mariplast produces and supplies patented items to customers worldwide to grant them technical and productivity advantages. One of the latest developments is the PATENTED roving bobbins category with patented system of molded velcro sleeve to allows a longer life span to our products. The velcro is injected in a plastic ring so there is no glue or welding, this makes it much easier to be cleaned and more resistant. This patented system allows to customers to eventually replace with a special tool supplied by the company damaged velcro rings of the tubes with new velcro rings; usually the standard glued or welded velcro tape is the first part that gets damaged and it’s very complicated to be replaced or adjusted, by this system and operation the lifespan of the tubes can be increased drastically. Mariplast also develops and produce light weight spinning tubes that allows increased productivity and energy costs savings to its customers.
The same goal to give technical and productivity advantages linked to sustainability is the focus also for PATENTED dye tubes. Mariplast produces many reusable items with technical polymers to increase as much as possible the life span of such items. In case where it’s not possible to go on reusable dye tubes, Mariplast has developed the patented category FLEX-BRAVO – axially / radially shrinkable dye tubes. This special one time use dye tubes are designed to follow the shrinkage of the yarn; the special design allows better dyeing results compared to standard rigid dye tube. This means that with such item the density if the package can be increased and the use of chemical dyes can be reduced. The meaning of that is productivity and sustainability advantages.
