Techno-economics of shuttle less loom: A critical review

The business of the weaving products makes a notable contribution to the national GDP and also contributed in the export’s revenue. When the demand rises for any products, then the need arises to increase the production to balance demand. Shuttle-less looms came in to life as an effect of the rising production demands for the woven products. Apart from the high speed, the shuttle-less looms have advantages like less picking energy, more colour weft insertion, higher design capability, wider width etc. This is the reason, the shuttle-less looms are suitable as present-day weaving machines.
