The campaign has garnered more than 7,47,500 views across social media.

The Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI) has released a short promotional film titled ‘Is Tyohaar, Khushiyan Baantiye’, encouraging consumers to celebrate the festive season by shopping their choicest apparel. Rooted in the spirit of sharing happiness, the message highlights how a simple act of festive shopping can create a wider impact by supporting the many people and businesses that form the country’s apparel ecosystem.

The campaign has garnered more than 7,47,500 views across social media, underscoring how festive shopping can extend beyond personal celebrations to support livelihoods and foster shared prosperity. Every purchase helps drive demand across the supply chain, enabling businesses to grow, supporting employment and strengthening India’s apparel industry.

Commenting on the success of the initiative, Santosh Katariya, President CMAI said, “Festivals are among the most important times of the year for India’s apparel industry. They bring families and communities together while creating significant opportunities across our sector—from manufacturers and retailers to the millions of people whose livelihoods depend on it. We look forward to a vibrant and successful festive season. By choosing garments they love, consumers can celebrate in style while supporting the growth of our industry and contributing to the nation’s economy.”

CMAI believes a stronger domestic apparel market is built through the collective participation of manufacturers, brands, retailers and consumers. As India’s apparel industry continues to evolve, consumer choices can help nurture homegrown brands, strengthen retail networks and create opportunities across the supply chain.
