Basant Fibertek is a leading manufacturer of Pins and Pinned Rollers for Spinning, and Waste Recycling as well as Rotors and Opening Rollers for Open-End Spinning machinery. It is also a major manufacturer for Plastic Pinned Inserts and Faller Bars for Gillboxes used in Worsted Spinning. Basant is pleased to announce the acquisition of all plant and machinery, knowhow and brand rights of Fallerbars Ltd. Bradford UK, a company that was one of the leading European suppliers of Fallers and Plastic Inserts for Worsted Spinning Gill Boxes. The company decided to wind up operations since the promoters were aging with no successors willing to take over the reins, besides the additional factors of rising costs and declining market for their products in Europe. The machinery has arrived and is currently under erection and commissioning.

Basant is a leading manufacturer of Plastic inserts with several prestigious clients in India and abroad. This acquisition will help Basant double its production capacity to meet the rising demand for its products and also help improve productivity with use of the sophisticated SPMs that automate several manual processes, thereby increasing both production rate and quality. We also get access to Fallerbars’ worldwide network of clients and agents which will help in accelerating our existing global presence.

The equipment includes machine tools for making Faller Bars, Injection Moulding Machines to make Plastic Inserts, various sets of moulds and dies for making a wide variety of Inserts suitable for all leading makes of Gill Boxes and Combers, various jigs and fixtures for manufacturing and quality control, all technology manuals related to process details, norms and standards, specifications of raw materials and components used in manufacturing and all brand rights. Several SPMs used for automation of various processes are also part of the plant.
We look forward to serving our existing and new clients worldwide with a wider range of products manufactured with higher productivity and quality to favourably compete with all competitors worldwide and soon our exports are likely to become higher than domestic sales of these products.
