ITAMMA President thanked all the past-Presidents, Trustees/Governors, members of the Managing Committee of the Association and the Directorate Team, who took a keen interest in the Association’s activities during the year.

Omprakash Mantry, President, ITAMMA during 83rd AGM scheduled at ITAMMA registered office, welcomed Dignitaries of Indonesian Garment and Textile Association (AGTI), Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia, Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia who attended virtually from Indonesia; and Shiv Kanodia, President-The Badlapur Textile Association who attended physically; for signing MoU with ITAMMA and address the august gathering.

Mantry said, “During the year under Report, we have witnessed significant changes in our country’s economic landscape. The Central Government has made several announcements regarding FDI and encouragements to the industry. The growth in GDP figures for 2025-26 is estimated at 7.7 per cent, compared to 7.1 per cent in 2024-25, and the fact that inflation is under control are, indeed, encouraging. However the growth of the textile machines and accessories industry aligns closely with manufacturing investments, industrial production indexes, and global trade volumes rather than a single Gross Domestic Product (GDP) figure. The Global Textile Machinery Market Size Report valued the worldwide textile machinery industry at roughly $55.28 billion to $58.39 billion in 2025–2026, heading toward approximately $93.78 billion by 2034 at a CAGR of 6.10 per cent. This sector reflects a broader post-pandemic push toward automation, supply chain diversification, and sustainable production technologies. Because this is a capital-intensive B2B industry, tracking its momentum requires analysing a mix of macroeconomic drivers and operational shifts.

Mantry thanked all the past-Presidents, Trustees/Governors, members of the Managing Committee of the Association and the Directorate Team, who took a keen interest in the Association’s activities during the year and guided us all along. He also thanked India ITME Society, TMMA, SIMA, and Govt. bodies MSME, MOT & MHI for their unstinted support at all times.

From Indonesia, addresses were made by
