World of Sleep 2027 to launch India’s inaugural curated sleep expo for consumers

Three-day immersive platform will bring together sleep essentials, science, technology, wellness, experts and practical experiences from 5–7 March 2027 at HITEX, Hyderabad.

World of Sleep, India’s first curated consumer exhibition dedicated to sleep, will make its debut from 5–7 March 2027 at HITEX Exhibition Centre, Hyderabad. Designed as an immersive platform connecting better sleep as the foundation of overall wellbeing, the three-day event will help visitors understand the many factors that shape rest, from physical comfort and bedroom design to technology, daily habits and wellness.

The launch comes as sleep quality remains a growing concern across India. The How India Sleeps 2025 survey found that 59% of respondents received less than six hours of uninterrupted sleep a night. Separately, the Great Indian Sleep Scorecard 2025 reported that 84% of respondents used their phones before bedtime, while 44% woke feeling unrefreshed.

“Sleep affects how we feel, think, recover and function every day, but people often approach it through isolated choices. World of Sleep brings together all elements in one place, helping visitors understand their individual needs and experience practical solutions across comfort, environment, technology and wellness. With Hyderabad’s strong health, technology and innovation ecosystem, the city becomes an ideal choice  for the first edition,” said Arun Roongta, Managing Director, World of Sleep.

World of Sleep will bring this conversation into a consumer setting where visitors can learn, compare and experience solutions suited to their needs. Its SleepScapes will cover six connected areas: Sleep Essentials, Sleep Technology, Sleep Furniture, Sleep Environment, Sleep Wellness and Sleep Wisdom. Together, these will span mattresses, pillows and bedding; sleep trackers, apps and pods; bedroom furniture; lighting, air quality, sound and fragrance; diagnostics, hospitality and wellness services; and expert information on sleep science and healthier bedtime habits.

Shalini Tandon, Chief Business Officer, World of Sleep, said, “Sleep influences how we feel, recover and function every day, yet there is less awareness of the solutions available or consumers choose products in isolation.  World of Sleep brings innovations, science, expert knowledge, technology, comfort and wellness together in an experience that people can explore, and experience the right solutions for themselves. Through our first edition in Hyderabad, we want to help consumers understand their individual sleep needs and make informed choices that lead to healthier, more restorative rest.”

A series of experience-led features will make the subject practical and accessible. Each SleepScape would take visitors beyond individual products to understand the complete sleep ecosystem within that category, allowing them to discover what exists today, what is evolving, and how different solutions can come together to create better sleep.  At the Pillow Bar, visitors will be able to compare pillow types and better understand how sleeping position, firmness, height, material and support influence personal comfort. The Sleep Café will offer a calm space to pause, read and unwind, complemented by a reading corner, a Night Routine Wall and interactive conversations around everyday sleep habits. Sleep Advisory would facilitate personalised guidance from sleep, health and wellness experts to help visitors understand their sleep concerns and discover solutions suited to their individual needs.

The programme will also include expert talks, medical collaborations, workshops and product experiences. Sleep specialists, doctors, researchers and wellness professionals will help visitors understand common sleep concerns, explore emerging innovations and make more informed choices for their own routines and environments

World of Sleep is organised by Texzone Information Services Pvt. Ltd., the organiser of HGH India.
