The exhibition will host 1,000+ companies from 55 countries.

ITM 2026, the world’s second-largest textile technologies exhibition, is set to open in Istanbul as a major international platform for textile machinery manufacturers and global investors. With participation from more than 1,000 companies and representatives from 55 countries, the event is expected to serve as a key trade hub, enabling machinery sales, new partnerships, and cross-border business opportunities.

The exhibition will be organised at the Tüyap Fair and Congress Center from June 9 to 13, 2026. It is being hosted through a collaboration between Tüyap Tüm Fuarcılık Yapım A.Ş. and Teknik Fuarcılık A.Ş., in partnership with the Textile Machinery and Accessories Industrialists Association (TEMSAD). Organisers said global promotional campaigns are continuing to expand the event’s international reach, positioning ITM 2026 among the most anticipated textile technology gatherings worldwide.

The organisers highlighted Istanbul’s strategic location between Asia and Europe, along with easier transportation access and visa procedures, as a key advantage for international participation. Türkiye’s visa agreements with countries including India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Vietnam, Egypt, Morocco, Iran, Uzbekistan and others are expected to boost visitor turnout from Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

Trade delegations from countries such as Bangladesh, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Indonesia, Ethiopia, India, Malaysia, Mexico, Peru, Poland, Serbia, Tunisia, Venezuela and Vietnam have already requested invitation letters. Turkish consulates and commercial attachés are also assisting visitors with visa processes.

ITM 2026 will showcase innovations across digitalisation, automation, AI-driven production systems and sustainability-focused solutions. Organisers expect the event to generate a strong business volume, with billion-dollar machinery sales and strategic agreements anticipated during the five-day exhibition.
