Digital textile Congress from Sept 27-28

Following on from the success of the 2016 event , UNITEX in collaboration with ESMA plans to organise the 5th edition of the international Digital Textile Congress 2018, entitled: “Digital Plugin for the Textile Factory of the Future.” The congress, which is an initiative of UNITEX and ESMA will be held from 27-28 September 2018 at the 3 Square Ghent in Ghent-Belgium.

The Congress will focus on the state-of-the-art, developments, innovations, applications and future prospects concerning digital technologies for the textile and garment industries. Participation to the Congress offers the attendee the opportunity to keep abreast of the latest developments in digital product and process technologies and to meet experts from these fields of research and from suppliers.

The Congress focuses on following core topic areas: Digital Printing/finishing, Fabrication Principles and Processes; Developments in digital inks hardware, software; Functional inks (electronic, OLED, hydrophobic…); Lab2Fab; 3D-Printing; Digital Workflows – Applications; Designing, Fashion; New Business Models, e-commerce, etc.

The previous edition of the Digital Textile Congress was attended by more than 274 participants, coming from 19 different countries.
