Contact drying with Wumag Texroll

Contact drying with WUMAG TEXROLL cylinder dryers is an efficient and energy-saving method of drying fabrics in textile finishing. WUMAG TEXROLL dryers ensure wrinkle free, low-tension and gentle drying of classical woven textiles and technical textiles under reproducible conditions. The dryers are used in continuous operation with finishing plants or as separately operating high-efficiency dryers for final and intermediate drying.

TeMin-drive technology: Direct drive of the cylinders with inverter controlled gear motors; The cylinder speed adjusts itself automatically to the fabric shrinkage during drying; The preset fabric tension will not be exceeded within the dryer; No additional drive components between cylinder and gear motor; Lowest maintenance effort.

WUMAG TEXROLL has more than 50 years experience in design and production of thin-walled cylinders: Lowest radial run out and perfect welding workmanship; Cylinder shell made of stainless steel, surface band-polished or teflon coated.

Options: Continuous operation or separately operating for two or one-sided contact drying; One to four stacks in vertical arrangement; Six to twelve cylinders per stack; Teflon coating of cylinder surface; Temperature control per stack or per group of cylinders; Shut-off valves for single cylinders or groups of cylinders; Steam pressure reduction; Compensators between stacks; Flatbelt drive instead of TeMin- drive; Cooling cylinders located in last drying stack or on separate frame; Feeding-in scaffold and surface winder/plater for separate operation; Exhaust hood including fan or complete insulated housing; Residual moisture control.
