Some production enterprises, brand owners and dealers do not fully understand the domestic product quality standards. The lack of full understanding of the domestic product quality standards has led to an increase in frequency of products that do not pass product quality spot checks. Failed spot checks can seriously affect the enterprise image and brand value.

KCT-TIFAC CORE in Textile Technology & Machinery of Kumaraguru College of Technology, Coimbatore organised a workshop on ´Advanced Manufacturing and Testing of Textiles´ on December 30, 2014 at Kumaraguru College of Technology, Coimbatore, exclusively for the benefit of students from textile institutions, technicians working in weaving industry, and designers working in apparel industries.
