This year Interfilière Paris running from January 23-25, 2016 in Paris at Porte de Versailles will honour Austrian company Willy Hermann, naming him the unrivalled leader in the circular and warp knits market. Willy Hermann is renowned for its patented SUPERFINE® knits. Since 1934, the family business has impacted the world’s textile industry. And that influence continues today with 300 new designs destined primarily for lingerie, corsetry, and loungewear introduced each year.

The designs’ quality and innovative character guarantee the business’s important role as a technology leader. Willy Hermann also works closely with machine manufacturers in partnerships which have brought the most spectacular fabrics to life. In fact, experimenting is one of the company’s strongest assets and the key to their success. Combining innovative technologies, new yarns, and even new dyeing and finishing procedures have allowed Willy Hermann to produce surprising results.

The most outstanding example of their achievements is the SUPERFINE® brand, which has enjoyed success since 2000. Today, SUPERFINE® is known around the world for its fineness, purity, and technological finesse, and it remains unequalled after 15 years.

The unique, extremely fine SUPERFINE® knits are produced on both circular and warp looms. Willy Hermann was the first company in the world to create this type of fabric. The current collection includes a choice of over 1,500 fabrics, which are remarkable for their smooth, regular surface. Compact and fine, the knitted stitches are invisible to the naked eye. SUPERFINE® fabrics are synonymous with lightness, well-being, and a luxurious hand.

Consumers enjoy a fabric that’s extremely comfortable and wears like a second skin. Willy Hermann clients appreciate the diversity and innovation in the collections, from technological as well as fashion and design considerations.
