As per the observation, since its inception, Indo Count has
contributed towards Project Gigaton. The project aims to reduce GHG emissions
by taking various initiatives like installation of solar plant and reduction in
freshwater consumption using water recycling plant. Other than these, Indo
Count has also supported Walmart’s commitments on sustainable packaging,
sustainable fibers, and implementation of the HIGG index.

According to Mohit Jain, Executive Vice-Chairman, Indo Count Industries Ltd, sustainability is very
important for Indo Count, so it has adopted every necessary action to preserve
the environment. The aim is to reduce the environmental footprint and ensure a
positive social impact.
