Jossi Systems, based in Waengi, Switzerland, is a market leading producer of systems for cleaning cotton and removing contaminating material from cotton at the first stages of production in the spinning mill. Uster Technologies has acquired 100 per cent of the shares of Jossi Systems AG, plus all intellectual property relating to the company, from Jossi Holding AG. All the current employees of Jossi Systems will be retained. The transaction was finalised for an undisclosed amount.
Dr Geoffrey Scott, CEO of Uster Technologies, states: ´Jossi is a long-standing company in the area of cotton cleaning and contamination removal.
