With a view to disseminating knowledge and information to the growing industry about the recent advancements in the textiles, garments and accessories, Rotary Club of Ichalkaranji Central and DKTE Society’s Textile and Engineering Institute as a part of their regular activity have decided to organise TEXPOSURE 2018, a textile exhibition on January 11-14, 2018. Leading textile machinery manufacturers, accessories and utilities manufacturers will be exhibiting their state-of-the-art technology and products.

Ichalkaranji being a well known decentralised textile city, where the activities include spinning, weaving, processing, knitting, nonwovens and garment manufacturing. About 35 spinning mills having state-of-the-art machinery are producing world-class yarn. Weaving comprises over one lakh plain powerlooms, 20,000 automatic looms, 160 sizing units and 12,000 shuttleless weaving machines. There are about 75 processing houses and about 100 garment manufacturing units. Due to easy availability of skilled and unskilled manpower, abundant water, technical and R&D support from DKTE and very conducive atmosphere for industrial growth, many leading business houses from India and overseas have their plants setup in and around Ichalkaranji. Several high tech textile parks and garment parks are established. The Government of India had implemented the textile cluster development scheme at Ichalkaranji and set up the Center of Excellence in Nonwovens at DKTE to enhance development of textile industry.

This mega event will be extremely beneficial for technocrats, manufacturers, entrepreneurs, R&D organisation, academia and students as it will be highlighting on new methods, technologies and possibilities.
