Taiwan pavilion at Technotex 2015

The Bureau of Foreign Trade (BOFT) & Taiwan Textile Federation (TTF) are forming the Taiwan Pavilion for the third time at Technotex 2015, which will be held in Mumbai from April 09-11, 2015.
In 2015, India would witness a bigger and wider participation from Taiwan with 18 companies producing high-end and innovative technical textiles, composite Textiles (FRP, fibreglass and carbon fibre), raw materials, accessories and non-woven machinery showcasing their products. The Taiwan pavilion will display Taiwan´s latest in technical textile development with quality products showcasing pioneering technologies. These highly specialized technical textiles are used in industries ranging from the auto industry to alternate energy, offering better performance and performing complex functions in the form of smart fibres and applications of nanotechnology. Taiwan´s functional textiles market has invested a lot of resources in textile technology innovation. Today, they produce fabrics which are anti-bacteria, water repellent, moisture transferring, etc. This is why most of the largest sportswear and outer wear manufacturers and retailers usually source active wear fabric from Taiwan.

Product profiles range from nylon, polyester and fibreglass yarns, fabrics for luggage, home textile, stroller, rain wear, umbrella, outdoor sports, apparel fabric, back pack, TPU film, zippers, abrasion resistant, car airbag, awning, camping tent, tarpaulin, boat cover, medical inflatable mattress, parachute, footwear, carbon fibre woven, UD construction woven, aramid fibre woven, fibreglass woven, design hybrid woven, coloured fibreglass, FRP processing machine, composite materials, precise rollers, LPG composite cylinder, FRP rock bolt, pultruded profile, PTFE glass fabric, mesh & fibre glass twisted yarn and other high tech fibre materials.

Exhibitors are looking forward to forging partnerships with Indian counterparts in technical textiles across the following industries ´ automotive; defence, police, fire departments; sports Gear and apparel; rainwear; outdoor tents and canopies; protective and safety products; architecture and construction; logistics and warehousing; public sector units (PSU); home textiles; composite textiles (FRP, fibreglass and carbon fibre); nonwoven machinery; public transportation; luggage & footwear, electronics & appliance, etc.
