TAI to organise exhibition on functional textiles

The Textile Association of India, Karnataka Unit is organising an exhibition showcase on January 22-23, 2016 in Bengaluru. This is part of international textile conference on ?Functional Textiles and Apparels: Global requirements and opportunities?.

The conference will bring together garment industry professionals, entrepreneurs, Garment Manufacturers Association, APEC members and officials of the textile ministerial level/textile dealers and distributors. Expert speakers from all over the world will be talking on various textile subjects followed by panel discussions.

The conference?s main goal is to help build successful relationship between the leading textile retailers, manufacturers, technical expertise and other external agencies who are in the same trade by addressing the issues and identifying the common interest to sharp up the future with our growing economy.

The Textile Association (India) is a professional body which came into existence in 1939 and now with about 23,000 members across India and also abroad from textile/fashion professionals, academic organisations members include the entire value chain from fibre, yarn, fabric – knitting/woven, processing, etc.
