Spread across 1,50,000+ sq ft the exhibition has become a formidable global networking hub for the textile industry.

The 13th edition of Gartex Texprocess India 2025 opened today at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan – New Delhi, marking a record-breaking start with 200+ exhibitors, 600+ brands, and 35 per cent first-time participants. The three-day event (21–23 August), jointly organised by Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India and MEX Exhibitions, has further strengthened its position as a leading platform for the garment, textile manufacturing, and denim industries.

This edition features two significant additions — the LeatherX Pavilion and the Textile Care Forum — making the show more holistic by addressing allied sectors of the textile value chain. Spread across 1,50,000+ sq ft the exhibition has become a formidable global networking hub for the textile industry.

The show has attracted strong international participation from leading companies including Durst, Morimota Singapore (Kansai), Epson, Morgan, Jinjen, Groz Beckert, Brothers International, Jack Franc, Veolia, Amazon, with delegations from China, Japan, Italy, Germany, and Singapore.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Manohar Lal Khattar, Hon’ble Minister of Housing & Urban Affairs and Minister of Power, Government of India, who emphasised the sector’s role in employment generation and India’s transition to renewable energy.

“The textile industry is among the largest employment generators, directly employing over 45 million people, including women and rural populations. With India now surpassing its renewable energy targets ahead of schedule, I urge the industry to transition its plants to clean energy in line with Mission 2047,” he said.

The Guest of Honour, Rakesh Sachan, Minister, Department of MSME, Khadi, Village Industries, Sericulture and Textile, Government of Uttar Pradesh, highlighted efforts to establish dedicated land parcels and apparel clusters, including a 150-acre textile park at Noida under YEIDA, aimed at boosting investments, exports, and indigenous technology adoption.

Other dignitaries present included Kundan Kumar (IAS), Resident Commissioner & MD, BIADA; Sharad Jaipuria, President, Denim Manufacturers Association; Simon Lee, MD, Hyosung Corporation India; Lalit Thukral, President, Noida Apparel Export Cluster; Himani Gulati, Director, MEX Exhibitions; Raj Manek, Executive Director & Board Member, Messe Frankfurt Asia Holdings; and Olaf Schmidt, VP – Textile & Textile Technologies, Messe Frankfurt GmbH.

Raj Manek, Executive Director & Board Member, Messe Frankfurt Asia Holdings Ltd, stated, “The overwhelming response on day one reflects India’s growing stature on the global textile map. Gartex Texprocess India continues to bring all stakeholders together under one roof, setting new benchmarks for the industry.”

Himani Gulati and Gaurav Juneja, Directors, MEX Exhibitions, added, “The 13th edition is more future-focused, integrating sessions and showcases that will drive innovation and create growth opportunities across the textile value chain.”
