SPGPrints, a leader in digital textile printing systems, is doubling the size of its digital ink production facility at its Boxmeer, Netherlands, headquarters for the second time in two years.
At Heimtextil 2017, SPGPrints presented the quality, fast time-to-market and cost-saving advantages of its digital inkjet technologies for varied home textile applications. Visitors were enthusiastic about the new 3200mm-wide JAVELIN® inkjet printer for bedlinen, curtains and upholstery that debuted at the show. There was also significant interest in the new 700mm-wide PIKE® Decor printer, a digital solution for furniture.
In addition to its inkjet machine and ink innovations at ITMA Asia 2016, SPGPrints also highlighted rotary screen printing and imaging technologies that enable textile printers to optimise uptime, drive quality, and print on the widest range of fabrics.
In order to meet strong demand for its JAVELIN Digital Textile Printer, SPGPrints is planning to increase its manufacturing capacity at its Kufstein (Austria) facilities. The Kufstein facility is well-equipped to provide efficient, high-quality serial machine production, enabling them to offer short lead times, and to accelerate the adoption of this game-changing technology.
SPGPrints announces the sale of a six-colour PIKE® digital textile printer to the Dongheng Group, in Changzhou, Jiangsu province (near Shanghai), China. DHG wanted to expand its digital capabilities for a variety of reasons. First, it needed to offer greater service flexibility, meeting customer demands for both high-quality, short runs and faster lead-times.
SPGPrints has launched its new range of NEBULA Acid HD (High Density) inks at Febratex 2016 (Hall 1, Stand 18), recently at Parque Vila Germanica, Blumenau, Santa Caterina, Brazil. The exhibition also marked the first showing in the Americas of the JAVELIN digital inkjet printer for companies printing up to two million metres of textiles annually.
