At a recent 5th edition of Entrepreneur India Awards 2015 held in New Delhi, Mustang Socks & Accessories was honoured with the ‘Entrepreneur of the Year in Manufacturing Business-Exports’ received by Lubeina Shahpurwala, Co-Founder &Director.

The new government is on the right path with ´Make in India´, but I just hope that the idea is carried forward with concrete steps in the upcoming budget. The budget should boost the domestic SME´s and encourage their growth.

Naazneen Katrak, founder of Mustang Socks, was honoured with the Golden MSME award for Woman Entrepreneur of the Year. Golden Maharashtra MSME Awards recognize and reward Maharashtra’s entrepreneurs, and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

Mustang Socks was founded by Naazneen Katrak 26 years ago. She understood the need of cotton socks back in the 90s, which compelled her to single-handedly set-up Mustang.
