Jaswinder Bedi, Chairman, African Cotton & Textile Industry Federation (ACTIF) and Managing Director, Bedi Investments, Kenya, was elected as the new President of the Federation for the next two years during the Annual Conference 2016 of the International Textile Manufacturers Federation (ITMF) in Jaipur.

The International Textile Manufacturers Federation (ITMF) 2016 will be held between November 17-19, 2016 at Jaipur. Hosted by the Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI), the three-day conference expects a mammoth gathering of more than 400 delegates including textile industry leaders, senior government officials and experts from across the world. The conference will offer a chance for textile manufacturers to interact with global leaders in the industry, experience new innovations in the industry and learn changing policies in global trade.

On October 17, 2014 during the Annual Conference 2014 of the International Textile Manufacturers Federation (ITMF) in Beijing/China, the Committee of Management of the Federation elected Wang Tiankai (China) unanimously as the new President of the Federation for the next two years.
