Recently, the 5th International Textile Conference at SSM College of Engineering, Komarapalayam, Erode was organised jointly with the Textile Association (India), Erode unit. The theme of the conference was ?Emerging Trends in Textile Industry: New Innovations 2015´. Dr NN Mahapatra, BSc in textile chemistry from UDCT, has written a book on textile dyes and dyeing. The book is written based on the 30 years of practical experience of the author working in various textile mills in India and abroad.
